            * 1. CEEPUS
            ******************************************************************************************
            CEEPUS is a Central European university exchange programme which helps forge a shared Euro

            It focuses mainly on regional co-operation within a university network in the following pa
            countries: Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Hu
            Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, plus Pristina, Prizren a

            as a non-member participant.
            This is a programme for undergraduate students who have completed the second semester of t
            studies, for grad students and university teachers. One can join the programme either with

            universities or individually as a "freemover".
            In order to be eligible for a scholarship, the interested PhD, MA and BA students and univ

            have to sign in to the network before June 15 (fall term) or October 30 (spring term), res
            given year.
            The deadline for freemovers' applications is November 30.

            * 2. AKTION
            ******************************************************************************************
            AKTION Czech Republic – Austria is a programme aimed at boosting bilateral cooperation in 

            and research. The Czech and Austrian ministries of education set aside funds which help fi
            educational and research activities of university teams in the two countries. These are ge
            through:

            a) scholarships awarded to students and teachers (1 to 9 month scholarships awarded to par
            35 years of age, one-month scholarships for teachers under 45 years of age, and special sc
            to applicants who are writing their diploma theses or dissertations)

            * 3.  DAAD – Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst

            ******************************************************************************************
            The DAAD Prague Information Centre disseminates information about the opportunities to stu
            research in Germany, detailing the DAAD grant and scholarship programmes and giving helpfu

            people who are planning to go on a study or research sojourn in Germany. The centre reside

            * 4. Hlávka Foundation
            ******************************************************************************************
            Hlávka Foundation grants research, art and travel scholarships. This oldest Czech foundati

            established in 1904 by Dr. Josef Hlávka. Undergraduate and graduate students can apply for
            grants and scholarships that would enable them to actively participate in a conference abr
            competitions, or through which they can finance long-term creative sabbaticals. The univer

            might, in exceptional cases, request that scholarship be granted to finance an on-campus P
            programme.
