Tuition (from 10. 5. 2021)

Changes (highlighted in bold) valid since 10. 5. 2021 until further notice:


the personal presence of students is possible for participation in clinical and practical tuition and work experience for all students without any number limitations (laboratory, experimental, sport and art tuition),


• participation in exams is possible without any number limitations when the minimal distance of 1,5 meters is observed,


• it is possible to attend an individual consultation or any other individual activities (only one student and one faculty member or other person)

Entrance exams and applicants (from 4. 5. 2021)

Based on Government Directive no. 433, entrusting the Czech Ministry of Health with the issuing of extraordinary measures, the university allows the applicants to attend the entrance in person only if:


• do not have any symptoms of COVID-19


• have taken a RT-PCR test for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus or a preventive antigen test for the presence of antigens of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, with a negative result not older than 7 days, or


The obligation to undergo testing does not apply to those who:


• have had COVID-19 and no more than 90 days have elapsed since the first positive testing (statutory declaration)


• hold a certificate on vaccination against COVID-19 and at least 14 days have elapsed since application of the second dose of the vaccine.


Entrance to the buildings (from 29. 4. 2021)

On the ground of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic is the faculty obligated to provide the evidence of present students, applicants, faculty members and all the other people present at the faculty for the possible tracing.


It is compulsory from 29. 4. 2021 to use the student/staff card to enter the building every time or to register at the gate house.


Opening hours (from 10. 5. 2021)

Magdalény Rettigové 7:00–19:30


Myslíkova 8:00–17:00


Celetná 6:00–19:00


Brandýs nad Labem 7:30–17:00



Filing office is opened from Monday to Thursday 9:00-15:00.


Office hours at the department are on Monday and Thursday 9:00-14:00.


Shop is opened from Monday to Thursday 9:00-17:00 and 9:00-16:00 on Fridays.


Library is opened from Monday to Wednesday 9:00-15:00.


Refectories (from 10. 5. 2021)

The food delivery to refractories Albertov, Kajetánka, FHS, Právnická, Hvězda, Sport (FTVS) starts on May 10th. The total amount of sold meals will be evaluated afterwards and the future working will be adjusted according to the result.


Testing (from 24. 4. 2021)

Testing of the students and stuff is performed at the test centre in Albertov Mo.-Fr. 7:00-17:00 and Sat.-Sun. 9:00-16:00. It is also possible for the students and staff from PedF to get tested in a mobile centre every Tuesday 8:00-12:00 in the classroom R010A in the main building in M. Rettigové 4.


Reservations can be made through the reservation system.


All the staff members and students are kindly asked to use public testing centres as well. It is recommended to use the testing centre in The General Teaching Hospital in Prague (VFN) as an alternative to Albertov. To VFN you can register here or you can come without previous registration.


The obligation to undergo testing does not apply to those who:


• have had COVID-19 and no more than 90 days have elapsed since the first positive testing (statutory declaration)


• hold a certificate on vaccination against COVID-19 and at least 14 days have elapsed since application of the second dose of the vaccine.


• can show a negative result from antigen or PCR test not older than 48 hours.


Vaccination against Covid-19 for academics (from 3. 5. 2021)

It is possible for the academics to register in the Central reservation system from 3. 5. 2021 to 15. 6. 2021. The code for the registration has been sent to academics. The code should be treated as a confidential information. The academic stuff has to identify itself with the certificate from the employer at the vaccination centre. The certification is made out by the department of human resources PedF.
