The Education Policy Centre is involved in the provision of certain courses of doctoral studies focusing on various issues of education and educational policy, especially in the area of tertiary education.
Research focus of the EPC is mainly in areas of the transition of graduates from education to work, their employability in the labour market, development of access and participation in higher (tertiary) education and quality of functions and tasks of higher education. EPC also deals with the typology of higher education institutions in the Czech Republic and in the world, analyses and developments of qualification requirements of the labour market and forecasts of educational needs.
