The Faculty of Education, Charles University, is pleased to announce the launch of a new challenge for the Post-Doc Resesearchers (JUNIOR FUND) program!We are currently looking for talented and highly motivated researchers for postdoctoral positions, with the research period from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.
What do we offer for the successful applicants?
This postdoctoral package offers a complex support, including:
Financial support from the Rectorate: A one-time relocation bonus of CZK 25.000 for those who have move to Prague, Plzeň, or Hradec Králové for the position. Additionally, we can offer monthly financial support, payment for optional courses, and reimbursement for translation(s) of websites or texts needed for your postdoctoral research.
Additional university opportunities: Possibility to teach currently running courses or create your own course / individual lecture.
Advisory support: Contacts with postdoctoral coordinators at the faculty and the rectorate (Departement for Science and Research, Staff Welcome Center)
Collaboration and networking: Access to Campus Hybernská and the platform „Join the Debate“, specifically designed for organizing conferences, workshops, or debates, offering you the possibility to become the keynote speaker.
Important deadlines:
The application deadline at the Faculty of Education is August 11, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM (GMT+1).
The final selection decision by the Rector of Charles University for the 18th JUNIOR Fund call will be made in September 2025.
How to apply?Applicants should submit a completed Junior Grant application, a reference letter, a professional CV with a complete list of publications, and a copy of their university diploma (PhD).
