We had the pleasure of hosting a dear visit from Japan and Hungary. From November 29th to December 1st, 2023, colleagues from three cooperating universities (Hyogo University of Teacher Education, Chiba University - Faculty of Education, Eötvös Loránd University - Department of Visual Education) visited our faculty. During the reception of the delegation at the Dean's office and subsequently, at the Department of Art Education, we held discussions regarding research questions in the field of visual literacy and cultural competencies in educational programs. Moreover, we visited the Donovalská Primary School in Prague 11, a faculty school of the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University, which transferred results of our research results to practice. Our international cooperation leads to mutual inspiration and exchange of different practices and improves the quality of our educational-related research.
