TSTT 2025 invites contributions that focus on innovative and forward-thinking approaches to teacher training in the digital age. This year’s theme emphasizes the integration of digital technology, artificial intelligence, as well as the importance of teacher research literacy, enabling teachers to critically evaluate and apply educational research in teacher education, with a particular focus on interdisciplinary studies.

Department of Education invites you to a lecture held by American psychologist Melanie Killen, Ph.D., from the University of Maryland on the topic of reducing prejudice and bias in children and young people. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion of experts from Charles University, Masaryk University and Czech Academy of Sciences on the topic of promoting intergroup friendships, e.g. across ethnic groups. It will take place on 2 June at 2 PM in the room M006.

The educational area of Language and Linguistic Communication classifies German as a second foreign language, starting no later than year 7. This opens up new challenges for the teaching of German, which could lead to the effective acquisition of a second foreign language for practical use and thus to the motivation to learn a second foreign language.
