Let us invite you to a concert Requiem Aeternam, organised by Heidelberg and Charles University. Concert takes place in St. Ursula Church on 21. of July and starts in 18:15.
The concert is to commemorate the victims of the Thirty Years' War, which devastated the society with one third of the population vanished and with substantial economical damage and poverty. For the 400th anniversary of it, the ensembles of the Faculty of Education of the Charles University and the Heidelberg University join throught the 4EU+ cooperation, in order to perform the spiritual set-pieces of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) - Kyrie in d moll and the famous Requiem in d moll. Before the final applause, a minute of silence for those who fell in the war will be kept.
