The ERME Topic Conference on Connecting the Learning of Mathematics Teaching to Practice will take place at Charles University in Prague, the Czech Republic, February 4 to 7, 2026. Worldwide, the professional education of teachers has done little to change conventional mathematics teaching. In response, scholars have argued for greater attention to the learning of practice, learning to “do” mathematics teaching.
