We invite you to the lecture and workshop "Teaching with Primary Sources and Historical Thinking" by the leading American expert Prof. Scott M. Waring from the University of Central Florida on the use of primary sources in teaching at primary and secondary schools. Come and learn about the latest research findings in the field of historical thinking and research-based teaching and share practical experiences with your colleagues, didacticians and practising teachers, during the workshop.
Meeting with doc. Smetáčková, dr. Komorná, dr. Svobodová and dr. Janda, who were on a week-long scientific and educational trip to the University of Utah (Salt Lake City). The opportunity to share experiences, gain research contacts or get to know the current mood on the American campus will be moderated by the Vice Dean for Foreign Relations, Tomáš Klinka, who was also part of the group.

Petra Tabáková is a third-year student at the Faculty of Education studying pre-school education while working in a pre-school in Holešovice. There is her report of an Erasmus internship she experienced in her second year of studies at the department of Pre-primary and Primary Education.

On 10-13 November, 2024, a group of 10 students of the Dept. of IT, Dept. of Math and Math Education, Dept. of Chemistry and Chemistry Education and the Dept. of Biology and Environmental Education visited Maribor (Slovenia) to find out how the subjects of computing, chemistry, biology and mathematics are taught in secondary schools. This visit took place in co-operation with the University of Maribor, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
