The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Education of Charles University elected a candidate for Dean of the Faculty. The candidate became doc. Antonín Jančařík. The new candidate has several steps to take before he replaces the current dean, Professor Michal Nedělka on the 1st of July. We congratulate the winner of the election.

This is the final conference of the Jean Monnet CitEdEV project involving a cross-disciplinary team of academics from 19 countries, exploring European Values and Citizenship Education.

We had the pleasure of hosting a dear visit from Japan and Hungary. From November 29th to December 1st, 2023, colleagues from three cooperating universities visited our faculty.

The workshop will explore both the key methodological issues in interpreting path models and introduce a number of common constructs used to explore widening participation and the attainment gap in higher education from a social identity perspective.
