Plymouth Institute of Education International Summer School

10 - 23 July 2023

The Plymouth Institute of Education International Summer School is an opportunity for international students who are studying or have completed an undergraduate Education degree to join us for a 2-week programme in July 2023 at the University of Plymouth.

Applicants must have a good command of the English language (IELTS 6.5 or above) and be able to travel to the UK on Saturday 8th July 2023 ready to begin the programme on Monday 10th July.

The cost of the Plymouth Institute of Education International Summer School is £1,800.00 GBP.

Course fees must be paid by Bank Transfer in advance of travel to the UK.

The Summer School Fee includes:

• 2-week academic programme including all study materials

• En-suite bedroom in our student halls of residence

• Breakfast and 2 course lunch (Monday - Friday)

• Weekend Trip to London with 2 nights’ accommodation

• Day trips exploring the local area

• Group Transfers from London Heathrow Airport to Plymouth on arrival

• Group Transfers to London Heathrow Airport on departure

• Certificate of Attendance

The Summer School Fee does not include:

• Return flights to London Heathrow Airport

• Visa Application Fees

• Evening & Weekend Meals

• Spending Money

ACADEMIC CONTENT

The Education Summer School students will experience a range of

seminars, workshops and setting visits all designed to give you insight

into education in England.

These may include:

• making and doing 3D art in education

• learning outside the classroom

• vulnerability and kindness as a teaching method

• 21st century skills

• early reading and phonics in the primary curriculum

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Our activities will help you to settle in, meet new people and maximise your

free time with us. You have the opportunity to spend your final weekend in

London before your flight home
