In the upcoming summer semester, we continue our virtual course program for students from partner universities.
We are glad to offer your students 11 virtual courses – 5 topical and 6 German and English language courses – starting at the end of March and beginning of April. The courses are free of charge for your students and are not counted towards the balance of our regular student exchange. In the appendix you will find our course list for the winter semester 2022/23. Students can get a transcript for the courses (between 2 and 5 ECTS/course).
Our semester starts on April 3rd and ends on July 15th. Our registration deadline for the program ends on March 17th. The deadline of the 3 language intensive courses that start in March end a week earlier on March 8th. The students who want to take part in the program can fill out the application form attached and send it directly to me. Please note that the courses take place at German local time and applications will be accepted on "first come, first served" basis. Three of the six language courses are intensive courses that take place in March.
We do not ask for language certificates for the 5 topical courses, but recommend that only students with the required language level apply. For the 6 language courses at the Language Center, we need proof of language proficiency for the required level. If the interested students do not have such proof, they can also take an online test (German: https://daf.check.uni-hamburg.de/c-test/ English: HERE) or take a short test with one of our lecturers. If this is the case, the students can just simply contact me via Mail.
